Abstract

Dielectric waveguide resonator (DWR) owns merits, such as high quality factor, high power capacity, compact size, and light weight, and has been a popular selection in the 5 th generation (5G) communication systems. This paper gives a review of the recent works in the authors’ research group on filtering components by using the DWRs, e.g. bandpass filters, a switching bandpass filter and a diplexer. The designed filtering components owns low loss, good return loss, compact size, and light weight, simultaneously.
