Abstract

Two of the most effective means of relaying information are face‐to‐face interpersonal communication and electronic visual communication. Studies of motion pictures show that in most instances combining sight, sound, colour and motion at the same time results in a higher degree of credibility, impact and information retention than a speech or the printed word.
