Abstract
Filial therapy, child‐parent relationship training, can be an effective intervention in divorce, helping to reestablish and enhance the relationship between noncustodial parents and children. A case study illustrates this strategy for relationship building that teaches the parent(s) skills in communication, discipline, and enhancing self‐esteem.
