The building information modeling (BIM) is a new tool used by the architecture, engineering and construction industry to design and build new buildings. Similar to manufacturing companies, architects and engineers are using digital prototypes in building design.

The building information modeling (BIM) is a new tool used by the architecture, engineering and construction industry to design and build new buildings. The currently designed BIM models are based on semantic data structures, object-oriented software, and parametricity. The parametricity of the BIM model is a feature making the work of a designer considerably easier [3].
