Abstract
Large electronic specific heat coefficient, C(T)/T, suggests that the family of Ce3M4Sn13 heavy-fermions (HF) is near a magnetic quantum critical point (QCP). We analyze the 4f contribution to the specific heat in terms of the single-ion Kondo resonance model. An unexpected change in the Kondo temperature TK versus magnetic field B signals a field-induced phase transition between the magnetically correlated HF phase and a single-ion Kondo impurity state.
