Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate the social factors and reasons behind the practice of some bad habits in Al Jabal Al Akhdhar region, where it also aims to identify the gender of the subjects. The study was conducted on a number of events that occurred by the people that started this change in Al Baida Primary Agency and Qirnada Reform and Rehabilitation Institution. The data was collected using surveys and the results show that there are many factors that led to this deviation. The most important factors are the large size of the family; poor family control; decrease in the economic and educational levels; weakness in faith; and plenty of time wasted. Moreover, the results show that the most practiced deviation is theft, melee, and drug use, which is more common in males than females.
