Abstract

Summary A field survey of the moor provided evidence of a rich cluster of prehistoric sites, several newly discovered. A division of the mom was indicated, with some parts containing ‘secular sites’, suchas houses, walls and clearance cairns, and others with, ‘ceremonial monuments’, including stone circles and burial cairns.
