Abstract

In this study, the on-site remote sensing technology was applied to the green tea field. This research is about the development of the management system named “N-system” as an experimental system and “T-system named Tsumigorou” as a real operation system to check the growth rate or environment state of the green tea. The purpose of this study is to apply to the production site with the green tea and make the management system named “T-system” by the name of “Tsumigorou”. N-system was used to make a detailed field survey in many green tea fields in Japan. And then, This “N-system” has evolved network system into named “T-system” which consists of hardware and software. NDVI value was simulated as a result of “N-system” and “T-system”. Through field survey, the correlation coefficient of a component of green tea such as weight, total nitrogen, amino acids, and fiber and NDVI was calculated. In the results, NDVIG have a strong correlation coefficient with fibers. Its correlation coefficient between NDVIG and the fibers of third picked tea in 2011 was R2 = 0.90 at MIYAKONOJO green tea field. “T-system” has a good relationship (Total R2 = 0.76) between vegetable fiber and NDVIIR.
