Abstract

The field direct shear test was used to analyze the backfill soil strength of a filling slope, and the slope controlled by different reinforcement conditions was simulated by finite element method base on the shear strength by the field test. The results show that the shear strength parameters of the backfill soil are friction angle φ = 15° and cohesion c = 25 kPa. Reinforced by anti-slide pile with different lengths, the maximum horizontal displacement of the slope can be reduced by 79.7% ~ 81.3% compared with that of the unreinforced slope. The maximum shear strain of the soil is also reduced to some extent, and the sliding surface characteristics and the strain amplitude are weakened.
