Abstract

For phototesting, one end of the fibre optic light guide is coupled directly to the light source and the other end is placed directly on the skin or via a spacer, which serves as a filter holder. A bifurcated light guide can be used for precise integrated exposure measurements. It has three termini, one for input and two for output. One of the output termini is used to expose the patient and the other is connected to a photometer.
