Abstract

The results of fiber-optic polarizer preparing in base of a fused biconical taper technology are presented. A new element of this work is use of a high-birefringence fiber with D-type cladding. The received results have been compared with theoretical investigation obtained for suitable prepared substitute model of polarizer structure. All results ware made for elements working on visible range of light (He-Ne laser).
