Abstract

Fetal congestive heart failure severity may be estimated by the Cardiovascular Profile Score (CV Score) which is an arrangement of ultrasound mortality markers scored from 0-10 out of 10. Tei index or Myocardial Performance Index (MPI) (isovolumetric contraction time/ejection time) has been described as an afterload-independent parameter of myocardial function. The question addressed in this study was: Does the MPI correlate with the CV Score?
