Abstract

The formation of the products of bainitic transformation in pipe steels of strength classes K60 (X70) and K65 (X80) during thermomechanical treatment is considered. It is shown that the structural factors that affect the ductile-fracture resistance of steel are the bainite morphology and the carbon distribution over structural constituents.
