Abstract

It is shown that in models with natural mass hierarchy for the three generations of fermions the mixing matrix (Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix) is severely restricted. The mixing matrices for the possible cases are given. In particular it is shown that a completely symmetric mass matrix is not possible.
