Abstract

The magnetotransport measurements were carried out in the novel organic conductor (BEDT-TTF)2KHg(SCN)4 and superconductor (BEDT-TTF)2NH4Hg(SCN)4 under high magnetic fields up to 40T. The Shubnikov-de Haas (SdH) effect and the angular dependent magnetoresistance oscillations were clearly observed for both samples. It was also found that the phase of the angular dependent oscillations of (BEDT-TTF)2KHg(SCN)4 changes rapidly at about 8K and at the “kink” field. These facts suggest that the electronic structure of (BEDT-TTF)2KHg(SCN)4 changes at low temperatures and low fields.
