Abstract

Oscillatory magnetostriction and the de Haas-van Alphen effect have been used to determine Fermi surface deformation parameters for cross sections lying normal to[001] in white tin. The temperature dependence of the amplitudes has been used to calculate effective masses for orbits lying normal to[001], [100], and[110].
