Abstract

We have observed Fermi surface change with antiferro-quadrupolar (AFQ) ordering in DyB 2C 2 via the de Haas–van Alphen effect. Some Fermi surfaces disappear in the AFQ state although they exist in the ‘para’ state. This observation cannot be explained by the change of the Brillouin zone due to the AFQ ordering.
