Abstract

This study aims to confirm whether ROA, PER, underwriter reputation, company size, percentage of shares offered to the public, and company age affect the level of underpricing. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of data in this study, namely secondary data. The research population is companies that have conducted IPOs on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020 to 2021 period. The sample used in this study was 93 companies. The results of this study indicate that of all the independent variables, it is proven that there is one that has a significant influence on the dependent variable. Based on the hypothesis testing conducted, the ROA and PER variables affect the level of underpricing. As for the underwriter reputation variable, the percentage offered to the public, the size of the company, and the age of the company have no effect on the level of underpricing. After conducting research, it is proven that there are differences in the level of underpricing in 2020 and 2021.
