Abstract
The phenological stages at Heliconias are presented differently in each area of life. This research was conducted in the city of Ramal de Aspuzana - San Martin, Peru ; assessed the developmental stages of the vegetative phase and the elapsed time for the start of the floral stage five species were quantified: Heliconia wagneriana, Heliconia stricta, Heliconia rostrata, Heliconia bihai and Heliconia ortotricha. H. wagneriana them behaved as with 232.66 days earlier with respect to the vegetative phase and the latter being Heliconia rostrata with 444 days. Also the time for the start of the floral phase in five species of Heliconia time was 424.17 days for Heliconia rostrata, Heliconia stricta to 245.83, 241.33 to Heliconia bihai, 234.33 Heliconia ortotricha and 215 days for to Heliconia wagneriana.
