Abstract
A retrospective chart review of 1190 patients who underwent age-appropriate, average-risk screening colonoscopy from July 2007 to July 2008 was conducted. The patients’ gender and race were obtained. Colonoscopy insertion and withdrawal times, prep quality, fellow involvement, and findings during the procedure were also recorded. A database was created using Microsoft Excel. Statistical analysis was performed using chi-square with significance set at p <0.05. The study was approved by the university IRB. Results
