Abstract

♦The 1952 Legislature adopted Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 1, referring to the Santa Margarita River litigation, as oppressive and regrettable action brought by the United States to adjudicate the water rights of the Santa Margarita River threatens to forever stop the growth and development of the many attractive and productive settlements, towns and agricultural communities in the Santa Margarita River Basin.
