Abstract

The process of vapor transfer in conditions of linear change in temperature along the channel is considered. The excess pressure of the vapor-gas mixture above the liquid meniscus is calculated as a function of the capillary radius and temperature. Expressions are found for the vapor flux and time of evaporation. It is shown that these expressions are in good agreement with experimental data.
