Abstract

The design features of narrow-band transducers for resonant ultrasonic instruments for evaluation of the quality of adhesive joints in sheet structures are considered. A comparison is made of the frequency characteristics of the transducers. The advantages of closed-type transducers in which the piezoplate is protected with a protector and enclosed in a housing are shown. It is noted that the single-frequency design of such transducers has made it possible to design the AD-21R instrument with improved operating parameters.
