Abstract

A simple and clear principle of operation of a solid-state wave gyroscope is described. Expressions are presented that allow determining the design and physical parameters that provide the required bandwidth and measurement range of the gyroscope in the angular velocity sensor mode. An iterative resonator balancing method is proposed, which allows obtaining the best resonator parameters for specific applications in navigation systems. The sequence of settings of the circuit of the control system of the solid-state wave gyroscope in the mode of the angular velocity sensor is described.
