Abstract
The article discusses the issues of groundwater protection and the problems of environmental crimes. The text analyzes the concept of criminal liability for violations of legislation on the protection and use of groundwater and the qualifying signs of such a crime. In addition, the article examines the features of criminal legal impact in violation of environmental and legal norms. In conclusion, the author substantiates specific proposals for improving the legal regulation of relevant relations.
