Abstract
A reconnaissance study of the Middle Pleistocene deposits of the Kenitra 1 section was carried out in order to check the concentration of palynomorphs here. The article presents the palynological characteristics of the paleosol. A low saturation of palynomorphs in the lower part of the deposits and a high content of pollen and spores in the upper part of paleosol 2 were established. Presumably, the lower part of the deposits can be compared with the transition zone from MIS 7 to MIS 6, and the upper part, with MIS 6. On the basis of palynological studies, landscapes and climate were reconstructed.
