Participants in the sociological survey identified a set of the most important and significant disciplines for inclusion in the curricula for training and postgraduate professional development of pharmaceutical specialists, and also made a list of necessary professional and personal skills and abilities required to work in the Far North and the Arctic. Revealed the relevance of studying the issues of organizing the resource management of pharmacy organizations and the need to master additional methods that form competence in the rational use of drugs and increasing the effectiveness of pharmacotherapy. The current requirements for a modern specialist with a higher pharmaceutical education are formulated, regardless of the region of residence and professional activity.
