Abstract

This article is devoted to the peculiarities of managing the perishable stock of a manufacturing enterprise. The author analyzes the applicability of the classical model for determining the optimal delivery lot for perishable raw materials. In the work, the systematization and analysis of existing modifications of the EOQ model and their applicability in various situations is carried out, motives, current trends, and types of modifications of the classical model for determining the optimal delivery lot are determined. The methodology used is a meta-analysis of publications formulating modifications to the EOQ model, considering the short shelf life of the stock; at the next stage, using the morphological method, the regularity of the formation of individual models is deduced. Finally, a numerical example is given. As a result, the key topics of model modifications were identified, trends in the constraints introduced into the model were identified.
