Abstract

Objective: The study goal is to determine the features of the implementation of lean production principles and Flow, Synchronization, and Leveling methods in the context of Russian organizational culture for improving the efficiency of company development.
 
 Methodology: Based on the methods of document analysis and expert survey, the authors analyze the advantages and disadvantages of implementing lean production principles and FSL for local companies that do not have transnational status and the corresponding financial opportunities and infrastructure.
 
 Results: The authors conclude that in transitioning to the implementation of lean production principles and FSL, it is necessary to use methods that account for Russian mentality and traditions and allow to more efficiently prepare company personnel for the successful introduction of internationally recognized methods.
 
 Conclusion: To increase the efficiency of companies in developing countries, the application of the concept of quality management should be developed in conjunction with a change in organizational culture. This approach can ensure business operations if national circumstances and the best traditions are considered.
