Abstract

The results of the low-temperature (2 < Т < 30) K heat capacity measurements and electronic structure calculations for band ferromagnets Co2MeAl (Me = Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni) ordered in the L21 crystal structure are presented. A comparative analysis of the behaviour of electronic properties as a function of the number of valence electrons z in the alloys Co2MeAl and Fe2MeAl is carried out.
