Abstract

Thin-film patterns on a flat substrate are most often utilized as test objects in microelectronics. The minimal structure and element sizes of the microelectronics are constantly diminished and attain units of micrometers and less at the present time. All this imposes elevated demands on the fabrication of both the test objects and the devices to check the linear dimensions of universal designation and of narrowly specialized apparatus assuring high measurement accuracy.
