Abstract
A method for determining the melting temperature of the slag-forming mixture on a high-temperature microscope is described and its accuracy indicators are given. The main parameters affecting the results of determining the melting temperature of slag mixtures using the DSC method, and rational conditions for conducting experiments aimed at determining the liquefaction, melting and spreading temperatures of slag are given.
