Abstract

The article systematically examines the issues of spirituality, such as the religious culture of the Kazakhs in China, the development of religious education and the revival of religious consciousness based on the process of public historical development of China in the twentieth century. The life and work of AkytUlimzhiuly, a great personality, a poet, a thinker who came out of the Kazakhs of China, is briefly studied. At the same time, the nature of the socio-political situation of the Kazakh society in China at the beginning of the 20th century and the value foundations of the poet’s worldview are determined. The article describes the formation of the personality of Akyt, as a teacher, in the process of educating the young generation and the person towards faith and humanity, based on historical information that AkytUlimzhuly received religious training from teachers of Nakshbandiyatariqah, after himself, having built a mosque and madrasa, was engaged in religious education. Through this the religious path is revealed, to which Akyt adhered to. Until now, the work of Akyt has been studied literary-linguistically, but a full-scale study of his religious position has not been conducted. The theoretical value of this study is represented by valuable information about this new aspect of this person, and its practical value is determined by the relevance of promoting the development of religious studies.Key words: Tariqah, Sufism, Naqshbandiya, Pir, muriid.
