Abstract

The energy spectrum of the low-lying states of asystem of three chargedbosons confined in a two-dimensional harmonic trap is investigated as afunction of the confinement strength ω0 by means of the exactdiagonalization of the Hamiltonian. The important feature of the low-lyingstates of three charged bosons in two-dimensional space is obtained via ananalysis of the energy spectrum.
