Abstract

In the February 20th issue of Oilweek there is an editorial beginning with the following sentence: “The year 1961 will provide a new buoyancy for the ailing Canadian oil and gas industry, but we are not likely to see a return to the boom conditions of the fabulous fifties. The soaring sixties will he more sombre than soaring.”
