Abstract

The Cambridge Ulnar Splint was invented by A.W.M., with patent assigned to Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge. Health Enterprise East provided funding for its development. H.G.R.S. declares no conflict of interest. The prototype Cambridge Ulnar Splint was designed in collaboration with the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, United Kingdom. The prototype splint was produced by ProMedics Orthopaedic Ltd and has not yet been submitted for US Food and Drug Administration or other regulatory approval.
