Abstract

The direct-conversion FPD has made it possible to confirm the localization and configuration of a 192-Ir radioactive source due to its wide dynamic range and high spatial resolution, and absence of image halation (presented at ASTRO 2011, # 3438). The purpose of this study was to evaluate the accuracy of FPD for positioning and time duration (dwell time) of a 192-Ir source, and its feasibility as a QA tool for the 192-Ir source.
