Abstract

A study of buprenorphine prescribing for opioid use disorder (OUD) from 2015 to 2019 has found that misuse of the drug decreased during that time period. The study, by researchers from the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), which funded the development of buprenorphine for OUD, was published last week in JAMA Network Open.
