Abstract

Rapid and selective quantification of trace residuals in complex samples is a great challenge for fast analysis. Herein, we developed magnetic Fe3O4-WO3−X @AuNPs hybrid sensor for efficient surface-enhanced Raman scattering(SERS) quantifications of albendazole(ABZ) and streptomycin(SPT) in meat samples. Fe3O4-WO3−X @AuNPs was prepared by hydrothermal method with CTAB assistance and in-situ distributing method. Fe3O4-WO3−X @AuNPs showed good sensing performance: SERS activity with enhancement factor of 6.3 × 107 for crystal violet, separation/enrichment capacity within 15 min for targets, selectivity to ABZ and SPT, stability with RSDs less than 4.5%(n = 25) for one intra-batch and 5.6%(n = 15) for different batches. Fe3O4-WO3−X @AuNPs integrated magnetic enrichment, fast clean-up separation, and synergistic enhancement of plasmons and charge transfer, which endowed it with good sensitivity, anti-interference, and accuracy for real sample analysis. SERS methods of ABZ and SPT were established, and limits of detection were 12.5 μg/L(ABZ) and 11.6 μg/L(SPT). ABZ was found in fish sample with recoveries of 90.1%− 105.0%, and SPT was found in chicken sample with recoveries of 86.2%− 101.8%. Entire analysis process completed within 27 min(ABZ) and 32 min(SPT), showing great potential for rapid quantification of different veterinary drugs residuals during food safety analysis.
