Abstract
An efficient protocol for the synthesis of 4-ester peroxides via ring-opening coupling of siloxy cyclopropanes with alkenes and tert-butyl hydroperoxide has been developed in the presence of an iron catalyst. The reaction involves a TBAF-triggered radical relay process and exhibits good functional group compatibility.
