Abstract

Fe-based porphyrin MOFs have been synthesized by the combination of organic synthesis method and solvothermal method, including Fe-TCPP, TCPP(Fe)-Fe, TCPP(Co)-Fe three types. The TCPP ligand simultaneously acts as a conductive substance for both the electron and lithium ion transport, which is beneficial for boosting the rate performance. Moreover, the introduction of Fe3+ or Co2+ not only improves the overal electrical conductivity, but also set up the synergistic effect with TCPP for enhancing lithium storage. When evaluated as anode materials for lithium ion batteries, this work has compared the electrochemical properties of three types of Fe-based porphyrin MOFs which provides guidance for the exploration of other high-performance metalloporphyrins MOFs anode.
