Abstract

Bandstop characteristics of a stripline with periodic dielectric rods inside the dielectric substrate are examined by the finite difference time domain (FDTD) method. As a result, we have provided the effective data of the center frequency, the bandwidth and the maximum attenuation level in the band stop characteristics under the condition that the interval between the dielectric rods, the side of the rod to the interval ratio and the number of grids are changed.
