Children can easily mistake edible cannabis products as breakfast cereal, candy, cookies, and other commonly consumed foods, the federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has warned. Accidentally ingesting these can cause serious adverse events in anyone, but especially in children, the agency said in a May 13 announcement.
