Abstract

Fæcal lead is a sensitive index of ingested lead. Normal values for children aged 2 years have been determined and contrasted with the findings in three cases of lead poisoning. Fæcal lead determinations have a place in population screening programmes and in the interpretation of blood-lead values in children.
