Abstract

THE non-human osteological remains excavated at Ogof-yr-Ychen have provided further evidence of the Pleistocene fauna associated with cave deposits along the southern Welsh coastline. The list (Table 1) confirms many of the species found already from the general area1 and introduces two examples of a species not previously recorded, the common vole Microtus arvalis Pallas.
