Abstract

It is always difficult to identify the high resistance fault of the distribution network in the active flexible grounding mode, in the meantime, the fault line selection accuracy is low. This paper presents an accurate and fast line selection method for high resistance grounding based on the characteristics that the zero-sequence voltage changes after the current is injected into the neutral point of the distribution network. In practical application, the high resistance grounding fault identification can be realized by calculating and comparing the zero-sequence current of each line after full compensation current is injected into the neutral point.
