Abstract

A fault tolerant control system design with partial faults in actuators is considered. An observer is studied to obtain the effectiveness factors of the partial faulty actuators on-line. According to the available effectiveness factors, a state feedback control law corresponding to a varying desire eigenvalue set is designed to compensate the loss at actuation driving power. Then, an actuation reconfiguration is performed. A simulation example verifies the effectiveness of the proposed design.
