Abstract

In Chaps. 2 and 3 , we consider the design of multiple-integral observers and fault-tolerant controllers for time delayed T-S fuzzy systems with only actuator faults and both actuator and sensor faults, respectively. However, it is worth pointing out that the previous two chapters did not consider the case of intermittent actuator fault. Constant value faults and slow time-varying faults are the commonest and simplest faults, and time-varying faults are also usually seen. Currently, there are many related studies (Ren et al. 2018; Guo and Chen 2019; Li and Yang 2016). In addition, minor faults and intermittent faults are unavoidable.
