Abstract

With the rapid development of photovoltaic industry, the service life and safety of photovoltaic array have attracted more and more attention. If the photovoltaic array under fault is not diagnosed and treated in time, it may cause fire and other serious consequences. Therefore, study of simulation and fault diagnosis of p-v arrays, has very important significance. In this paper, according to the output characteristics of photovoltaic array in different environments and fault conditions, M file was written to simulate the photovoltaic array under complex light conditions, short circuit fault conditions and shadow occlusion conditions. By studying p-v curve of the photovoltaic array, the output characteristics of the photovoltaic array in different environments and fault conditions are analyzed, and fault diagnosis is made.
