Abstract
In this paper, a fault detection method based on moving window principal component analysis (MWPCA) is introduced. This method is applied to the three-tank system, and three typical faults of three water tank system are detected. The results show that the MWPCA has better erformance compared with the traditional principal component nalysis(PCA) method.
